Become a Member
We are building a community of Muslims engaged in technology and AI, with the goal of promoting beneficial applications and preventing harmful ones, grounded in Islamic principles and guided by our deen.
Membership is free. Members contribute their time, skills, and perspective to shape our projects, contribute expertise, participate in discussions, and help us build resources the Muslim tech community actually needs. Whether you're a software engineer, PM, academic, researcher, student, or simply invested in this space, there's a role for you.
Subscribe to the newsletter
Bi-weekly emails on AI safety, ethics, and accountability from an Islamic principles perspective. The content includes:
- IASER project updates
- Statements and public responses to major AI policy developments affecting Muslim communities and the broader public
- Resources and analysis grounding AI ethics in Islamic principles — salama (soundness), ihsan (excellence), and amanah (accountability)
- Opportunities to get involved, including calls to sign letters, attend events, and contribute to advocacy work
